Data encryption, while vital, has not traditionally been within reach of all organizations primarily due to budget constraints and implementation complexity. By providing a centralized cloud solution for managing an enterprise’s data sources, Snowflake now makes it possible for all companies to achieve best practice in protecting their data by encrypting everything. To highlight this new paradigm for their CTO customers, the Silicon Valley Software Group (SV/SG) asked our Director of Security Mario Duarte to discuss this concept of “data encryption everywhere” on their blog.
