Master Class: Lifecycling Snowpark and Java UDFs Through DataOps

July 15, 2021

Snowpark is a new developer experience that Snowflake is using to bring deeply integrated, DataFrame-style programming to the languages developers like to use, including Scala. Snowpark is designed to make building complex data pipelines a breeze and to allow developers to interact with Snowflake directly without moving data.

DataOps.live enables Scala or Java code to be stored, managed, and lifecycled, and then projects the latest code (depending on the environment it is run against, for example, dev, test, or production) into Snowpark every time a pipeline is run. Lifecycle management includes full environment management, code management, CI/CD, and automated regression testing.

Join us for this master class in partnership with DataOps.live to learn:

  • Why we’re excited about Snowpark and Java user-defined functions (UDFs) and how these features represent a major new foray into data programmability
  • How to lifecycle Snowpark and Java UDFs through DataOps with CI/CD and automated regression testing
